For our first offering, please enjoy
these galleries of covers from two of
the most collectible vintage paperback
publishers: Popular Library and Lion
Books. While Popular Library
published reprints of many fine
mystery novels, they are most notable
for the classic era of Pulp-like covers
by such artists as Rudolph Belarski,
Ed Bergey, and others. Lion on the
other hand is well-known for
publishing some fine original fiction
by writers like Jim Thompson, David
Goodis, Richard Matheson, Robert
Bloch and others.
